APPEC – Anaesthesia Postgraduate Pre-Examination Course was launched in 2021 as a comprehensive 9-day academic program by the Department of Anaesthesia, ABVIMS & Dr. RML Hospital, Delhi. Since its inception, the course has been conducted annually, and this year in 2026, we again proudly present the 6th edition of APPEC.

This academic initiative was conceived with the vision of reaching out to anaesthesia postgraduate residents pursuing MD/DNB, across the country and supporting them in their examination preparation journey.
APPEC offers a quick yet comprehensive revision covering nearly the entire theory syllabus as well as viva voce topics through didactic lectures, live case discussions, and focused viva preparation sessions including drug and equipment viva. The program also includes BLS and ACLS revision to strengthen practical readiness.

 All sessions are delivered by eminent and faculty who have been examiners at various universities from across India, ensuring high-quality teaching and interactive discussions to clarify students’ doubts.
The core objective of APPEC is to empower students with knowledge, clarity, and confidence so they can approach their examinations with competence and ease.
